For All Ages

All children aged 3 and up are invited to participate in our programs! They include:

Sunday School

If you are visiting on a Sunday, your children are welcome to join us for Sunday School! We begin at 9:50am on Sundays, except during summer break (June-mid August. In 2023, classes resumed on August 14th). Students and teachers begin the morning with singing, prayer, an opening lesson for all ages, and announcements. We then dismiss to individual classes for lessons and crafts.

Children age 3 and up can attend Sunday School. The four high school grades are combined into one class, known as the Bible Class.

Sunday School Performances

Twice per year, at Christmas and Easter, our students perform a musical program during the afternoon worship service. All the grades begin by singing together, then split off into individual classes to sing songs and recite memory verses. We love to see their energy and excitement as they sing about Jesus!

ACTIVE

On the second Wednesday evening of each month, we enjoy a pizza supper at 6pm, followed by a Bible study for the congregation and a special ACTIVE devotional and activities for students up through 8th grade (the Bible Class attends the Bible study in the sanctuary). Typically, we invite special guests from the congregation to lead the devotional. 

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Every year during the first week of June, we hold Vacation Bible School. This week is a special time of lessons, singing, crafts, games, and just all around fun! VBS is held Monday-Thursday from 7pm - 8:30pm, followed by an all-church Sunday School picnic on Friday evening. Not attending Washington church? You are still welcome to attend!
