Young Group

The Washington Young Group is comprised of single brothers, sisters, and converts. As young single believers, we desire to build godly friendships and encourage one another towards a closer walk with Christ. We gather regularly on the weekends (typically Friday night) to study God's Word, sing, serve, and fellowship. Our activities include:

• Bible studies (led by a minister)
• Testimony nights (led by someone from the local congregation)
• Prayer nights
• Service projects
• Singing at nursing homes
• Hymn sings
• Potluck meals
• Game nights

Annual Trip

Once per year, the young group takes a weekend trip! In April 2026, we visited the Pacific Garden Mission in downtown Chicago and watched a live performance of the radio drama Unshackled! In 2025, we visited Sight & Sound Theatre in Branson, MO to watch their production of David. These weekends are a wonderful time of building relationships, fun activities, music, and exploring God's Word.
