The Bible encourages and instructs us about family relationships, and strong homes are highly valued. As a church family, our members seek to encourage and support each other in meaningful ways of day-to-day life.
Church Weekend Campout- A number of families participate in the annual weekend retreat to a local camp area. Saturday is spent together as families, children, and friends enjoy God's creation and each other's company. After Sunday morning breakfast, one of the church ministers conducts a service for those in attendance.
Helping Hands- Meals, transportation, and support provided for those in our congregation who have a need after a new birth in the family, hospitalization, or other life circumstances.
Young Group Baby Sitting- Annual evening out for parents with young children. The young members host an evening of Bible crafts and activities for the children.
Mommy Matters- Raising young children can be challenging, and Mommy Matters provides an opportunity for sharing and spiritual enrichment for mothers of preschool children. Mothers of all ages join together for an uplifting and encouraging peer group, and the kiddos also get some social time! Babysitting is provided by sisters in the church, and snacks, games, and special activities are arranged for the kids.
